Cristiano Ronaldo to be remain absent for Manchester United's practice session once again

Portugal football legend Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to miss the practice of Manchester United for the second consecutive day. While the rest of the players were expected to train on Monday, Ronaldo was absent due to 'family reasons'. Once again, the Portugal star will be unavailable Tuesday for the same reasons. It will be interesting to see whether he will return to the team or not.

Recently, ESPN reported that the player's manager Jorge Mendes had another conversation with the new Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly. Not to forget, German champion Bayern Munich and French champion Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are also looking to sign the legend. However, it will be interesting which team he goes to if he desires to leave the 'Red Devils'. Currently, the team maintained that they are sensitive to personal issues but haven't set a date for Cristiano's return.

The 37-year-old scored 24 goals in 38 games across competitions for United last season despite the team having a disastrous season. Early this year, the team's caretaker coach Ralf Rangnick suggested that he might let go of Ronaldo as the latter doesn't fit into his plans for the future. Notably, the club has said that Ronaldo is not for sale. Chelsea would be looking to buy him alongside Neymar from Brazil.

It would be a great sight to see two greats of the game playing alongside each albeit the league. On the other hand, Manchester will have very few options to sign players as the likes of Erling Haaland, Darwin Nunez and Julian Alavrez have already moved to other clubs. If Ronaldo also leaves, the club will be under severe pressure to find the best players for the next season.

Recently, the star player was seen holidaying with his family in Spain. Ronaldo and his partner Georgina were then spotted on the expensive yacht in Ibiza with friends. He then spent his summer break in Mallorca training with his son Cristiano Jr.
