Watch: PSG Fans boo Messi and Neymar after shock UCL exit

Lionel Messi was given a grand welcome to Paris Saint Germain. As he has been associated with FC Barcelona since his inception as a footballer, his second chapter started on a good note. There was a lot of frenzy surrounding his arrival at PSG.

However, a lot of things have changed in seven months. The fans haven't really been kind to the superstar. It is to be noted that PSG was recently knocked out of the UEFA Champions League. This is the one trophy their fans have been desperately waiting for quite a while now.

Despite leading 2-0, PSG let the pressure get the better off them. During the last 60 minutes, Real Madrid made a sensational comeback to knock PSG out of the tournament. The fact that the iconic trio of Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe couldn't help their side win the game managed to disappoint their fans.

Thus, during PSG's first game after that loss, the duo of Messi and Neymar were booed by the fans in the stadium. The spectators at Parc des Princes showed no mercy as they booed the whole team, barring Mbappe, who scored two goals against Real Madrid. It was indeed a very shocking moment.

That wasn't it as Messi and Neymar were continuously booed during the game as well. Whenever the two of them touched the ball, the PSG fans booed them. Owing to the stature of the duo, it was shocking as neither of them have ever received such a treatment.

Nevertheless, PSG still ended up winning the game by 3-0 against Bordeaux. It were Mbappe, Neymar and Leandro Paredes who scored the goals. As far as Messi is concerned, it will be exciting to see what he does after getting booed and humiliated by the fans of the club.
