The 25-year-old young pacer from Madhya Pradesh, Arshdeep Singh has impressed everyone with his stellar performances at the start of his international career. Arshdeep made his debut in the T20I series against England. He bowled the first over of his career as a maiden and became the second Indian bowler to do so in the T20Is after Ajit Agarkar.

He has also bowled well against West Indies in the ongoing T20I series. In the second T20I against the hosts, he was one of the economical bowlers for India despite a defeat. The cricket fans took to Twitter for appreciating him, they praised the youngster for holding his nerves in a pressure situation.

The second fixture of the five-match T20I series started late due to an unforeseen delay in the arrival of luggage of both teams. The visitors won the toss and decided to bowl first against the men in blue.

India had a drastic start as skipper Rohit Sharma fell prey to young pacer Obed McCoy at the very first ball of the match. Later on, the Indian batting through a collapse, all thanks to the brilliant bowling spell of McCoy for the hosts.

The 25-year-old lad scalped six wickets by conceding just 17 runs in his quota of four overs with one maiden to his name. India could manage to score only 139 runs for the loss of all wickets in 19.2 overs.

Later on, while chasing the target, opening batter Brandon King played a match-defining knock of 68 runs off 52 balls with eight boundaries and two sixes to his name. The 31-run knock from wicketkeeper-batter Devon Thomas helped West Indies to register the win in the last over with four balls to spare.

Speaking of Indiaโ€™s bowling, then Arshdeep and Jadeja were the bowlers who bowled quite a bit well. The young pacer scalped the wicket of Rovman Powell at the very crucial juncture of the match in the 19th over of the inning.
