India and Australia are currently clashing against each other in the first Test of the four-match Test series at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Australia, who are the no.1 ranked Test team in the world, opted to bat first after winning the toss. Fans expected a strong start from the visitors but surprisingly that didn't happen as they were wrapped up by the Indian bowlers on the score of just 177 runs.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma came to open the innings with newly married KL Rahul. However. Rahul continued his poor form and departed after scoring only 20 runs. But Rohit batted brilliantly and smashed a brilliant half-century before the end of the first day. Coming in to bat on the second day Rohit converted his half-century into a brilliant ton.

He completed his century by facing 171 balls, which included 14 fours and 2 sixes. The 36-year-old  batter also achieved a special feat as he became the first Indian player, who has scored a century in all three formats as a captain.
