‘The master of pull shot’ : Wishes pour in as Rohit Sharma celebrates his 34th birthday

Indian batsman Rohit Sharma turned 34 today. The Mumbai Indians skipper celebrated his birthday with his team after MI’s impressive victory over Rajasthan Royals last night. Post the match, images of Rohit Sharma celebrating his birthday with his teammates surfaced on internet.

Mumbai Indians took to Twitter and wished their skipper on his special day.
โ€œSetting the stage on fire whenever and wherever he walks in โ€“ the name is Ro-HIT Sharma. Happy Birthday, Captain,โ€ they tweeted

Rohit’s better half Ritika Sajdeh also wished her husband on his special day.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) also extended their wishes to Rohit Sharma and posted a video of his best pull shots with a caption, โ€œCould watch this all day Happy birthday to the master of the pull shot, @ImRo45,โ€ ICC captioned the video on Twitter.

 

Rohit is highly regarded as one of the greats in limited overs cricket. The Indian vice captain has amassed 9205 runs in 227 ODIs including 29 hundreds. He is the only batsman to hit three double centuries in ODIs. Rohit Sharma is currently leading Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2021. The defending champions are placed fourth in the points table with three wins and as many losses.
