The eighth match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to see Multan Sultans take on Islamabad United. As the seventh edition of the league is still in its early days, both teams would want to win as many games as possible. Besides, both of them are yet to lose a game in PSL 2022.

Thus, both teams wouldn’t want to make too many changes to their side for this encounter. Multan Sultans have won their first three games, and are yet to put a foot wrong. As for Islamabad United, they managed to win their opening encounter against Peshawar Zalmi. Their top-order lived up to their reputation and were superb in their first game.

Thus, the Shadab-led side would be filled with confidence and would want to continue the good work. As for the defending champions, they have looked the most dominant side so far in the tournament. The table-toppers seem to be winning games for fun.

However, they would certainly be wary of Islamabad, who look like a commendable side on paper. Besides, the law of averages might just catch up to them. Thus, Tuesday promises to treat the fans to a thrilling contest between two superb teams.

Pitch Report:

Karachi has proved to be batting-friendly so far in the tournament. However, teams have found it hard to get going in the initial overs, especially while batting first. Thus, both teams would want to win the toss and bat second.
