1. Royal Challengers Bangalore (263/5 vs PWI)
RCB tops the chart as they scored 263 runs for five wickets in 20 overs against Pune Warriors India (PWI). This mammoth total got posted at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Chris Gayle won the Player of the Match award for scoring 175* runs off 66 balls and taking two wickets. RCB won that match by 130 runs.
2. Lucknow Super Giants (257/5 vs PBKS)
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are in the second spot as they smashed 257 runs for five wickets in 20 overs against Punjab Kings (PBKS). This inning came at Mohali in IPL 2023. Marcus Stoinis was the highest scorer with 72 runs off 40 balls. Along with him, Kyle Mayers also scored 54 runs off 24 balls.
3. Royal Challengers Bangalore (248/3 vs GL)
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are in the third spot as they smashed 248 runs for three wickets in 20 overs against Gujarat Lions. This inning came at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. AB de Villiers won the Player of the Match award for smacking 129* runs off 52 balls. RCB won that match by 144 runs.

CSK scored 246 runs for five wickets in 20 overs against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Chennai during IPL 2010. Murali Vijay won the Player of the Match award as he scored 127 runs off 56 balls. CSK won that match by 23 runs.
5. Kolkata Knight Riders (245/6 vs KXIP)
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) put up a mammoth score of 245 runs for six wickets in 20 overs against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP, currently known as Punjab Kings, PBKS). This inning came at Indore in IPL 2018. Sunil Narine won the Player of the Match award as he scored 75 runs off 36 balls and grabbed one wicket. KKR won that match by 31 runs.
6. Chennai Super Kings (240/5 vs KXIP)
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) smashed 240 runs for five wickets in 20 overs against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP, currently known as Punjab Kings, PBKS). This inning came at Mohali in IPL 2008. Michael Hussey won the Player of the Match award as he scored 116* runs off 54 balls. CSK won that game by 33 runs.
