India and South Africa crossed their swords in the second of the three-match T20I series. Both teams played this. The men in blue completely outmuscled the Proteas in the penultimate encounter to gain the winning lead in the series by a margin of 2-0. The visitors’ skipper Temba Bavuma won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first.

Batting first, the Indians posted a mammoth total of 237 runs for the loss of only three wickets in the allotted 20 overs. While chasing the target, senior South African batter David Miller smashed an amazing century however, it went in vain as the Proteas couldn’t cross the line and scored 221 runs for the loss of three wickets in the 20 overs.
