India vs Pakistan is one of the biggest blockbusters, if not the biggest, in the world of cricket. However,  India and Pakistan bilateral series has not been possible due to the political tensions between the two nations.

India hosted the lasted bi-lateral series between the countries in 2012-13. Since then, the two nations have faced off only in global events. Before the cricketing relations between India and Pakistan came to a cease, the two teams had played 15 Test series against each other. In these 15 series, both the teams won 4 series each. However, the number of Test match wins for Pakistan is higher.

Besides the Test series, India and Pakistan have played a total of 17 ODI series. Out of the 17 series, Pakistan has won 11, while India secured the win in five of these series. The two nations have also participated in a two-match T20I series. The series remained a draw as both the teams won a match each.

The cricketing fraternity has been denied the intense action and tension of India-Pakistan encounters for a long time. With the wish expressed by Cricket Australia, the fans are waiting for all things to fall in the proper place.
