Michael Vaughan, the former England captain, never shies away from speaking his mind. He is always ready to indulge in cheeky banters with former cricketers, especially former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer, and also giving his opinions on various cricket related topics. Vaughan has also been high in praise of the Indian T20 League and several times has termed it the best league in the world.

This time he took it to Twitter to praise the Pakistan Super League and said that PSL is the second-best league in the world and is not far off from Indian T20 League. "Pakistan Super League is the 2nd best T20 Tournament in the World … it’s not far off the IPL either. Outstanding standard of cricket," he wrote in one of his recent tweets.

The PSL has become a big success over the last 6 years, and it deserves the credit where due. Many players from across the globe participate in the tournament every year and make it interesting for the audience. However, it still has a long way to go to match the standards set by Indian T20 League.

PSL started in 2016, with Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, and Lahore Qalandars participating in the inaugural season. Multan Sultans was introduced as the sixth team two seasons later. The tournament has seen a gradual growth every season, in terms of quality of the game and international participation.

ITL, on the other hand, has been massive right from its inception. It started with eight teams, and now has 10 teams in the 15th edition. Every big name in the world wants to be a part of the tournament.
