Not many events are as exciting as a cricket match between India and Pakistan. It wouldn't be an overstatement to say that the games involving these two teams are the biggest in the cricket calendar. The political tension between the two countries has resulted in the India-Pakistan games having huge stakes.

Besides, as the two teams generally face each other during World Cup games, it becomes all the more crucial. Thus, during the ongoing Women's World Cup 2022, the two Asian teams locked horns on Sunday, and what followed was an absolute cracker of a contest. At the end, it was the Indian team who emerged victorious.

However, one of the major highlights of the game was the Indian players playing with Bismah Maroof's daughter. After the game, Harmanpreet Kaur, Shafali Verma, Smirti Mandhana and a few others were seen enjoying their time alongside Fatima, i.e. the daughter of Pakistan's captain. They were seen posing with the little girl for a picture.

A video of the Indian players bonding with Maroof, and her daughter went viral as well. This video managed to win several hearts. Users started to share the video, and absolutely loved the interaction between the cute child, and the players. In fact, even ICC posted a video of the same.

As far as the game is concerned, the Mithali Raj-led side won the tossand decided to bat first. Their batters ended up scoring 244-7 in the first innings. Smriti Mandhana, Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar scored half-centuries.

During the second innings, the Maroof-led side kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Thus, they fell short by 107 runs. It was Rajeshwari Gayakwad who picked a four-fer. However, Vastrakar won the player of the match award for her 67 off just 59 deliveries.
