In a big piece of news for Indian cricket fans, the Indian cricket board has announced the squad of the Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. Australia will host the marquee tournament next month in October. Recently, the men in blue played in the Asia Cup 2022 where they failed miserably and got eliminated from the tournament after losing in the super-4 round.

Regular skipper Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are all set to open the innings for the Indian team in the eighth edition of the T20 World Cup. Selectors have also come up with some changes in the squad after the conclusion of the Asia Cup 2022. Other than that, Indian selectors have opted to go with two wicketkeepers Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik in the squad.

The selectors have announced the squad for both bilateral series against Australia and South Africa ahead of the eighth edition of the T20 World Cup.
