Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper Nitish Rana’s wife Saachi Marwah recently shared a story on her Instagram story where she posted a picture of two boys and claimed that they were chasing her car and also hit the car. She also seemed disappointed as Delhi Police didn’t give the response she was expecting to receive.

“Just a casual day in Delhi, on my way back home from work!! These guys randomly hitting my car! JUST no reason stalked and chased and the police told me on the phone when I complained ‘so now that you’ve reached home safe, let it go! Next time number note kar lena’ @delhi.police_official. AYE AYE CAPTAIN, NEXT TIME ILL TAKE THEIR PHONE NUMBER ALSO.” However, later, a case was registered by Delhi Police on them and both the accused have been arrested.

Meanwhile, her husband and Indian cricketer Rana is busy playing in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League. He is leading the two-time champions KKR in their regular skipper Shreyas Iyer’s absence as he was ruled out due to a back injury. He will also miss out on the biggest Test clash of the year in June which will be the final of the Test Championship between India and Australia at the Oval.

However, Rana’s captaincy has decently led KKR so far in the season as in 10 matches they have acquired 8 points but are sitting in the 8th position and can’t afford any more losses in the tournament. They recently defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in a last-ball thriller on May 4 by 5 runs and here is what Rana said after the match.

"In the middle, we bowled a few loose overs and took a gamble with Shardul and Vaibhav and they managed to get both set batters and that's how we made a comeback in this game. We had to get them out because if they bat till the end, then surely the game would have gone out of our reach. I had a doubt if I had to go with a spinner/pacer and backed my spinner to do the job. I always see who is the best spinner in the game and that's how I decide whom to back on the given day," he said.
