Following that, the right-arm spinner was seen giving his Delhi teammate a farewell send-off in domestic cricket. Rana appeared to be about to respond by calling his younger players names and abusing on the field. According to media reports, the two have a history together since they avoid eye contact in the Delhi dressing room during the domestic season.

Here's the viral video:

"Not surprised to see this between Nitish Rana and Hrithik Shokeen. They have a history. Don't talk in the dressing room. It all started in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Both weren't talking while batting in Ranji too. Rana is a senior player, and Shokeen needs to ZIP UP!" a user opined on Twitter.

Mumbai Indians defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 5 wickets in IPL 2023

Speaking of the game, the Nitish Rana-led team was given the order to bat first after losing the toss. He did, however, declare that he would have batted first at the toss, considering the potential slowness of the pitch as the game went on. While Venkatesh Iyer was doing well at the other end, the squad started out poorly, losing three wickets in 73 runs. His first century aided the team's achievement of 185/6.

In response, Mumbai Indians got off to a quick start and reached 65 before Rohit Sharma (20 off 13) was dismissed after just 4.5 overs. Mumbai's innings was hastened to the fullest extent by Ishan Kishan's 58 off 25 runs. Following his dismissal, Tilak Varma (30 off 25) and acting skipper Suryakumar Yadav (43 off 25) took over. By scoring 24 off 13 as his final flourish, Tim David helped Mumbai win the match by five wickets.
