'Har match me ball of century pd jati h' - Fans go after Virat Kohli following his short stay against Bangladesh in first Test

Former Indian skipper and veteran batter Virat Kohli recently scored his 72nd international century in the second ODI against Bangladesh. But he couldn’t carry the same form in the Test series against Bangladesh. He could stay for a very short period of only five balls and fell prey to Taijul Islam in 20th over of the Indian innings.

This early departure of the 34-year-old batter left him on the receiving end of trolling from Indian cricket fans. The latter took to Twitter for mocking Virat Kohli following his poor display of batting against a lower-ranked team like Bangladesh.

Here’s how fans reacted to Virat Kohli’s miserable knock in the first Test against Bangladesh:

Earlier, Virat Kohli surpassed the former Australian great Ricky Ponting to become the second batter in World to score the highest international centuries. Now he is only behind the former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar who has 100 international centuries to his name.

Coming back to the ongoing first Test between India and Bangladesh, the visitors have scored 116 runs for the loss of four wickets in 32 overs. Currently, senior specialist batter Cheteshwar Pujara and middle order batter Shreyas Iyer are there in the middle with individual scores of 22 and 4 runs respectively.

Star all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz has also opened his account of wickets by claiming the scalp of star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant. The latter went back to the pavilion after scoring 46 runs off 45 balls with six boundaries and two sixes to his name.

Speaking of Bangladesh’s bowling, Taijul Islam has scalped the two important wickets of Shubhman Gill and Virat Kohli. Other than him, pacer Khaleel Ahmed also claimed the wicket of India’s stand-in skipper KL Rahul.
