There are a few things Bangalore need to be careful about in order to win the title this time around. The franchise shouldn't commit some mistakes that might dent their chances of winning the tournament. Today, we shall be taking a look at four mistakes Bangalore need to avoid to win their maiden title.

1) Avoid batting collapses:

Bangalore have had a batting collapse almost every season despite having star batters in their side. They need to avoid that in the upcoming season. Someone among their top-order needs to take the responsibility to bat deep.

Another reason for Bangalore frequently facing batting collapses is because they fail to read the conditions. The analysts and management of the franchises need to cover this aspect. Besides, either Faf du Plessis or Virat Kohli have to play the role of an anchor.

2) Wickets during the middle overs:

While the Bangalore bowlers manage to pick wickets during the powerplay and death overs, it is the lack of wickets in the middle overs which hurts them. Batters solidify themselves during this time and get settled. Hence, the only way to choke the opposition is to dismiss some batters during overs from 7 to 15.

With Wanindu Hasaranga in the side, he is expected to solve that issue. Alongside him, either Shahbaz Ahmed or Karn Sharma need to take some responsibility as well. The spinners need to bowl more wicket-taking deliveries.

3) Bangalore have to back their players:

One of the major issues the Bangalore fans have had is that their franchise doesn't back their players. There have been numerous occasions where players have been dropped after just one bad game. The reason teams like Chennai and Mumbai do well is because they back their players.

Thus, the Faf-led side have to give their players a longer run. Building trust and confidence helps the player to unlock his full potential. The youngsters need a little time to get used to playing on the big stage.

4) Bangalore shouldn't depend on a few individuals:

At the end, it is the team that wins the game and not a player. Thus, the Bangalore-based franchise needs to work as a team. They shouldn't assign one entire role to an individual.

For example, one cannot expect Dinesh Karthik to finish every game and there needs to be a contingency plan put in place. Similarly, they need to click as a team. Every player needs to perform the roles assigned to them.
