Five players who have played in every season of Indian T20 League

The 15th edition of the Indian T20 league is all set to start on March 26. Over the years, the biggest T20 league has created an image of the most competitive T20 tournament around the globe. In the end, it is the players who build the league's reputation.

Thus, some players have been playing the toughest 20 league right from its inception. There are many individuals who have played every edition of the tournament so far. Today, we shall be taking a look at five players to have featured in every edition of the Indian T20 league.

1) MS Dhoni:

MS Dhoni is arguably one of the greatest players in the history of the league. His achievements for Chennai played a huge role in popularizing the league. Dhoni has played for two teams, them being Chennai and the now-defunct Pune.

As a matter of fact, he led the yellow army to four titles. The keeper-batter has scored 4746 runs in 220 games at an average of 39.55. He has a whopping strike rate of 135.83.

2) Rohit Sharma:

Rohit Sharma is one of the most successful players to have played the biggest T20 league in the world. No player has won more trophies than him (six). He won his first trophy while playing for Hyderabad Chargers in 2009.

As a captain, he has won five titles for Mumbai, the most by any skipper. He has been synonymous with the Mumbai-based franchise, making them one of the strongest sides in the league.

3) Virat Kohli:

Virat Kohli is arguably one of the greatest batters in the history of the league. In fact, he has scored the most number of runs in the toughest 20 league. Kohli's tally of 973 runs during the 2016 edition is still the highest number of runs scored by an individual batter in a single edition.

Another important point to be noted is that Kohli has only played for Bangalore. He is one of the few players to have played for just one team. In the process, he has scored over 6000 runs for the Bangalore-based franchise.

4) Shikhar Dhawan:

Shikhar Dhawan has always been a silent assassin. So far, he has played for Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi and did a good job for them at the top. He will be seen representing Punjab in the upcoming edition of the Indian T20 league.

 As far as his batting record in the league is concerned, Dhawan has scored 5784 runs from 192 games. He has a batting average and strike rate of 34.84 and 126.64 respectively.

5) Manish Pandey:

Unlike the other names on this list, Manish Pandey isn't a veteran in international cricket. However, he has been playing the biggest T20 league in the world since its first season in 2008. While playing for Bangalore, he became the first Indian player to score a hundred in the tournament.

He then went on to represent teams like Pune, Kolkata and Hyderabad. He played an important role in Kolkata's title-winning campaign in 2014 as well. He will now be seen representing Lucknow in the 2022 edition.
