India and Pakistan locked horns in the high-voltage encounter during the Asia Cup 2022. Both teams played against each other for the first time after the match in the T20 World Cup 2021 last year. Bhuvneshwar Kumar ended up as the leading wicket-taker for India in the innings as he scalped four wickets by conceding 26 runs in his quota of four overs. While chasing the target in the second innings, India faced an early blow only on the second ball of the inning. Although, senior batter Virat Kohli showed some form with the bat as he scored 35 runs off 34 balls with three boundaries and a six to his name.
