India Capitals and Manipal Tigers locked horns in the 12th match of the Legends League Cricket. Both teams played this match in Jodhpur. Tigers’ skipper Harbhajan Singh won the toss and asked the Capitals to bat first. Batting first, the Capitals posted a decent total of 183 runs for the loss of only two wickets.
While chasing the target, the Tigers managed to cross the line on the last bowl of the match and won the match by three wickets.

Speaking of the match, then the opening pair of Hamilton Masakadza and Solomon Mire provided a good start of 69 runs for the first wicket. Masakadza smashed a quick knock of 60 runs off just 35 balls with eight boundaries and two sixes to his name. Other than him, former legendary Kiwi batter Ross Taylor and Caribbean veteran Denesh Ramdin played the half-century knocks of 64 and 51 runs respectively.
Corey Anderson was the only batter to scalp a wicket for India Capitals. While chasing the target, opener Ricardo Powell smashed a swashbuckling knock of 96 runs off 52 balls with eight boundaries and seven maximums on his credit.
Apart from Powell, Mohammad Kaif and Corey Anderson played the knocks of 26 and 39 runs respectively. On the backs of these knocks, the Tigers chased down the target on the last ball of the 20th over and won the match by three wickets.
Powell was adjudged player of the match for his excellent math-defining knock.
