Legends League Cricket 2022 is in action by some of the former veterans of the game. Four participating in the tournaments are Manipal Tigers, Bhilwara Kings, Gujarat Giants, and India Capitals. The skippers of these teams include the likes of former Indian legends in the form of Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Gautam Gambhir, and Virender Sehwag.

Apart from the retired players and former veterans of the game, there are some players who have an age less than the currently active cricketers. Let us take senior Indian batter, Virat Kohli, then he is about to turn 34 on the 5th of November later this year. He is currently playing for the men in blue and impressing everyone with his swashbuckling performances.

So, here we’ll have a look at four players who are playing in the Legends League cricket 2022 but are younger in age in comparison to Virat Kohli.

Former veteran Kiwi all-rounder Corey Anderson made his first international appearance for the New Zealand team almost 10 years back in the year 2022. He played his first match against South Africa in Durban on the 21st of December in 2012. Later on, he went on to play 13 Tests, 49 ODIs, and 31 T20Is for the national side of New Zealand.

However, he couldn’t get so many chances for the team so he decided to play cricket in the United States.  And now, Anderson is playing in the ongoing Legends League Cricket. He also appeared for the Mumbai franchise in the Indian T20 League. Speaking of then he is only 31 years as of now.

The 32-year-old bowling all-rounder couldn’t make it to the national side of India as his career ended with having just six first-class matches, 15 List-As, and five T20s to his name. He scalped a total of 34 wickets in domestic cricket.

Later on, the retired from all the formats of the game and recently he is younger than Kohli and currently playing in the Legends Cricket League.

Appanna had a personal history of playing under the leadership of Virat Kohli in the Indian T20 League. He played for the Bangalore team. Later on, he went on to end up his career. Currently, he is actively playing for the Gujarat Giants in the Legends League Cricket.
