The mini-auction for the next edition of the Indian T20 League will take place on the 23rd of December in Kochi. Earlier, the Indian cricket Board announced a list of 405 players who will go under the hammer for the 16th edition of the cash-rich T20 tournament. The liar included 273 Indian cricketers alongside 132 overseas individuals.

The 10 participating franchises will contest to pick the players according to their remaining salary purses for the next edition of the tournament.

Meanwhile, there are also a few players who will miss the auction, but the fans may have expected them to be available for the tournament.

With said that, here we’ll have a look at three players who could have a base price of INR 2 crores but unfortunately, they would not be there during the auction.

Dawid Malan

Dawid Malan in Indian T20 League<br />

The prolific limited-overs batter for England Dawid Malan has been in brilliant touch with the bat of late. He produced some useful knocks with the bat while playing for the three lions. The 35-year-old has amassed 509 runs in 19 appearances in T20I cricket with an average of 33.93 during the calendar year of 2022.

Apart from that, he also played a vital role in England’s World Cup triumph in the 20-20 World Cup 2022 with some amazing batting performances including a remarkable win against Pakistan in the final.

Speaking of Malan’s appearances in the Indian T20 League, he played only one match for Punjab last year in the edition 2021. Ahead of the mini-auction for the next season, Malan has registered himself under the base price of INR 1.5 crores. But looking at his form and consistency in the T20I cricket this year, it can be said that the England batter has undervalued himself.

Sikander Raza

The senior Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikander Raza has been in outstanding touch both with bat and ball during the 20-20 World Cup 2022. He went on to score 219 runs with the bat alongside scalping 10 wickets with an average of 15.60 with his amazing off-spin.

Although Raza is yet to feature in Indian T20 League, previously he has been phenomenal in the other T20 Leagues throughout the cricketing World. Despite such good performances and brilliant outings with bat and ball, Raza has registered himself under the base price of INR 50 Lakh only.

Shakib Al Hasan

The Test skipper of the Bangladesh cricket team and veteran player Shakib Al Hasan has been a renowned face throughout the various seasons of the Indian T20 League. He played a very crucial role in Kolkata’s tournament-winning runs in the season of 2012 and 2014.

Speaking of his career in the Indian T20 League, Shakib has scored 793 runs in 71 appearances alongside scalping 63 wickets at quite a bit good economy rate of below 7.5.
