WATCH: Rahul Dravid gives batting tips to Bangladesh veteran Mushfiqur Rahim ahead of the second Test at Mirpur

India and Bangladesh are set to lock horns in the second and last of the two-match Test series tomorrow at the Sher-E-Bangla stadium in Chattogram. The visitors are leading the series by a margin of 1-0 with a win in the series. KL Rahul-led Indian team outmuscled Shakib’s men by 188 runs to take a lead in the series.

Meanwhile, former Bangladesh captain and senior batter Mushfiqur Rahim was seen with the Indian head coach Rahul Dravid for some batting tips. Notably, Rahim couldn’t live up to the expectations in both innings of the first Test against India. The spin web trapped him in both innings of the match.

Probably, Rahim was having a chat with Rahul Dravid about his renowned technique of playing defensive cricket in crucial situations during the important Tests for his team. Later on, the Bangla skipper hugged Dravid and had some photos with him. The video of this interaction with an Indian coach and veteran Bangla batter was shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Speaking of India’s current tour of Bangladesh, the former fell prey to the hosts and lost the ODI series by a margin of 1-2 with consecutive defeats in the first two ODIs of the series. Now, the Indians would be eyeing on to win the Test series to keep their hopes alive in contention for the final of the World Test Championship.

Notably, the Indian team is also scheduled to play the four-match Test series against Australia in next year in the month of February. India would have to win three out of four Tests during the series against Australia.
