Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the flip of the coin and decided to bat first in the last super-12 assignment of the Indian team. Batting first, the Indians posted a total of 186 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

He smashed 61 runs off just 25 balls with six boundaries and four sixes to his name.

Followed by the amazing display from batters, Indian bowlers bundled up the batting lineup of the Zimbabweans only the score 115 runs in 17.2 overs. Eventually, India registered a comfortable win of 71 runs in their last super-12 appearance in the tournament.
