Indian Cricket is going through a busy phase of cricket. Rohit Sharma and his men are getting ready to play Bangladesh in the final game of Super-Four on Friday. This will be followed by the final of the Asia Cup on Sunday.

More cricketing action is in store as India plays Australia in a short three-match-ODI series. The Indian team will be then put through their biggest test when they host the 2023 ODI World Cup. The pressure will be on Rohit and his men as they look to win the tournament after 12 years.

Indian player comes up with a heartfelt message –

Ravichandran Ashwin has been a loyal servant for Indian cricket since his debut in 2010. Just a few days short of turning 37-year-old his enthusiasm is still the same as a debutant. Ravichandran Ashwin is currently enjoying some time away from the game as he isn’t part of the ODI team.

The off-spinner from Chennai was recently speaking on his YouTube channel. Ashwin was heard saying “I have been playing for the last 14-15 years for Team India. I have had my great moments. I have had my fair share of failures too. I was talking to Abhinav Bindra that day. He said, ‘I have failed more than I succeeded”

Ashwin who has played 94 test matches will be next seen playing against South Africa end of this year. The biggest challenge for Ashwin will come early in 2024 when England visits India for a five-match test series at home.

Despite not being in the plans for the Indian team, Ashwin made an emotional comment. The star Indian off-spinner said this on his YouTube channel, “Even I have had my fair share of failures and successes. But I have tattooed Indian cricket close to my heart. If they require my service even tomorrow, I will be ready and will give my 100 per cent”

Ravichandran Ashwin last played ODI cricket in 2022 away to South Africa. His ODI record has seen him play 113 games and pick 151 wickets. In 94 tests, Ashwin has picked 489 and is on track to become the second-fastest bowler to 500 test wickets.
