Meanwhile, Orton’s dad and WWE Hall of Famer Bob Orton talked about his son and said that Randy doesn’t feel like going back to WWE as he is still recovering.

“He’s training, so we’ll see what happens. I don’t know if he feels like going back or if he feels like he’s ready to go back. I think he might. Then again, he’s pretty well taken care of, I don’t think he needs to and I think the doctors have told him not to. But Randy will do what Randy is gonna do," Bob was quoted as saying by Times Now.

Will Orton head towards AEW?

WWE fans are eagerly waiting to see Randy back in action as he is one the oldest wrestlers in the company he made his debut in 2022 have produced many breathtaking fights in WWE. The 14-time World Champion may be able to make his in-ring comeback, but there has been no update from the WWE as of yet.

There are numerous instances of wrestlers being forced into early retirement because their physicians at WWE didn't give them the all-clear. Edge and Daniel Bryan were affected in the past, but both have made a comeback in the sport. Edge and Daniel Bryan have both participated in a WrestleMania main event after their initial retirements. Therefore, there is some chance that even if Orton has taken a long break, he might eventually make a comeback.
