Royal Rumble is one of the most talked-about events in WWE’s line of pay-per-views. Being the first mega event of the new year, it sets the precedent for the biggest WWE event WrestleMania, which takes place in April.
The 2023 Royal Rumble will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. It will be the fourth Royal Rumble event to be held in San Antonio after 1997, 2007, and 2017 events and the third to take place at the Alamodome, following 1997 and 2017.
There will be a WWE Universal Championship match between the champion Roman Reigns and challenger Kevin Owens. Owen has a talent that can defy the odds while Reigns has a knack for looking more beatable than he really is. The fan following of both wrestlers is huge across the whole world and many of their fans are eagerly waiting for their championship match. The bout will be a highlight of the show and it will be interesting to see if Owens walks out with the gold and shock the WWE universe.
