All WWE fans were eagerly waiting for the 36th edition of the Royal Rumble event. It took place in San Antonio, Texas on 29 January 2023. But, he lasted only for three minutes. After eliminating a few members in quick succession, Booby Lashley eliminated him by throwing him out of the ring over the top rope. He was not happy at all as Brock Lesnar destroyed everything and everyone. However, there were some reasons that might be worked behind his early elimination from the WWE Royal Rumble 2023.

Here are the top four reasons behind the quick elimination of Brock Lesnar in WWE Royal Rumble 2023:

A new feud with Bobby Lashley is on the way

Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley have been enjoying a feud among themselves since 2022. Roman Reigns helped Lashley in defeating the Beast in order to win the WWE Championship in the 2022 Royal Rumble. After that, Lesnar defeated Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel in November 2022.

Recently, Brock Lesnar made a comeback in WWE Raw XXX and attacked Lashley. He was the reason why the match ended in Theory’s favor. Hence, after the elimination at the hands of Lashley in the Royal Rumble 2023, a new feud is on the way between these two great WWE superstars.

No more spotlight for the Beast in Royal Rumble

Brock Lesnar has won two Royal Rumbles in his career in 2003 and 2022 respectively. In the last edition of the Royal Rumble, Bobby Lashley defeated him for the WWE Championship. But, he surprised everyone by making an entry into the 30-man Royal Rumble match. Thus, Lesnar became the first former world champion to win that match on the same night he lost the title.

Lenar has always grabbed the crowd’s attention in any event. In this year’s Royal Rumble, he lasted around for just three minutes. Lesnar eliminated a few members before Bobby Lashley threw him out of the ring over the top rope. Hence, fans will not remember this Royal Rumble in the context of the performance of the Beast.

No chance of a WWE Championship for Brock Lesnar

During the 2020 Royal Rumble event, the Beast entered as the WWE Champion. This quick elimination has shown that the WWE have no planning to consider him as a contender for a WWE title. Kevin Owens fought with Roman Reigns for the title in the event while Cody Rhoades won the Royal Rumble in 2023.

So, the American Nightmare might look to fight with Roman at the upcoming Wrestlemania event. However, before this event, there were rumours that Brock Lesnar will make a comeback and can win the Royal Rumble for another take on the WWE Championship. But, now after this loss, he is nowhere near the title.

The Beast made an entry in the Royal Rumble in the 12th position. While Bobby Lashley made an entry in the 13th position. Brock Lesnar eliminated Santos Escobar, Angelo Dawkins, and Chad Gable, in quick succession. But, Lashley eliminated Lesnar and created the biggest upset of the Rumble.

After the elimination, Lesnar was in a furious mood. He completely destroyed the announcer's table. The Beast attacked Baron Corbin and the WWE officials before he made his way to the back. So, this showed that Brock Lesnar was not happy with his performance and will look to settle his score with Lashley later.
