'I've got pain shooting down my legs' - The Undertaker recalls painful moment when he got to know his career was over

The Undertaker is one of the most loved and legendary WWE star in the world. The former WWE Hall of Famer has entertained many generations with his stylish moves. The Deadman pushed his body through and took massive collisions with his rivals for over thirty years.

The Undertaker, meanwhile, recounted the agonising moment when he faced former world champion AJ Styles in a Boneyard fight during his farewell bout at WrestleMania 36. The illustrious WWE icon also admitted that while recording that memorable match, he realised his career as a performer was gone. The Phenom had physical fatigue as a result of his lengthy career.

"My back is completely locked up, I've got pain shooting down my legs. That's when I knew I was done. Like, I was for sure 100 per cent done," Undertaker told Metro. "It was physical. We did some really big stunts, but I shouldn't have felt the way that I did. It was just that moment of clarity ... I'm really proud of what we did in that match. But yeah, that was the moment that I knew it was all over." The Undertaker was quoted as saying by Wrestling INC.

The Undertaker admitted that despite feeling discomfort during filming the Boneyard Match, he kept it a secret from anyone else. The former WWE Champion discussed the last few hours of filming at an unnamed Florida site.

"We still had a couple of hours of shooting left. The process in mind , 'Okay. you're not even standing up straight anymore. You gotta get through this, and we gotta get through it in the right way.' So that's where all my focus was. And then once it was all over and then I had to drive back to the — from where we were at, I drove back to the Performance Center in Orlando. It was a long drive, your whole career, everything – where did it go? It went so fast." Undertaker said
