Spinner Sobhana Asha has emerged as queen for RCB, having secured five wickets and led her team to a thrilling victory.

Earlier, UP Warriorz won the toss and elected to bowl first, aiming to capitalise on their bowling strength. RCB set a competitive total of 157-6 in their allotted 20 overs. Sophie Devine provided a solid start with a resilient 15 runs off 20 balls.

Captain Smriti Mandhana contributed only 13 runs and continued her poor form in the WPL. However, Sabbhineni Meghana played a crucial inning, scoring 53 runs at a strike rate of 120.45. In the end, wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh made significant contributions, taking the team to a final total of 157. Gosh, in her innings, scored 62 runs off 37 balls with the help of 12 boundaries.

UP Warriorz, in pursuit of 158, faced a stiff challenge from the RCB bowlers. Skipper Alyssa Healy failed to score runs and let down her team.
