The batter started his international career with a humongous ‘six’ as he hooked a speedy bouncer from Jofra Archer. In his 17 T20 innings, the right-handed batter has scored 537 runs at an average of 38.36 at a magnificent strike rate of 177 with 4 fifties and 1 century to his name. The batter recently left the fans awestruck with his stupendous strokeplay as he plundered 117 runs off just 55 balls smashing 14 fours and six gigantic sixes in the third T20I against England.

The 27-year-old became the fourth batter to score a hundred in T20 internationals as he scored a brilliant 104 in the second T20I at Dublin. In his six outings for the Indian team so far, the batter has scored 205 runs at an average of 68 at a strike rate of 172.
