Swizz Tennis sensation Roger Federer recently took part in a fun Q&A session and spoke at lengths on various topics. Federer was asked to pick between 2006 and 2017 as his best year and Federer had no hesitations in picking the former as he was "barely losing" and was a "great mover" then. The video was posted from the Twitter handle of ATP tour.

"Good question. I would probably think 2006. Some of my best years when I was barely losing. Okay. In 2017 I also had a wonderful year. I'd pick 2006 over 2017," the Basel-born professional tennis player said.

He also revealed that Belinda Bencic is his favourite WTA player as she is his " best friend". He also added the names of Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka to the list. Belinda Bencic recently expressed her desire to play Mixed Doubles tennis with Roger Federer at the Tokyo Olympics. However, she reckoned that the decision depends on Roger Federer’s fitness levels.

"Belinda, obviously," he said. "She is my best friend on the women's tour. Having played all the Hopman Cups with her, she's been the best partner. Hopefully, we can partner up again at the Olympics. "We are not going to forget about Serena, obviously. She is the queen, so all good there".
