Serbian Tennis player Novak Djokovic recently pulled off a memorable, Cincinnati Open final win against Carlos Alcaraz. Notably, the latter beat the Serbian in the Wimbledon 2023 final last month. Talking about the Cincinnati final, Djokovic won the game 5-7, 7-6 (9/7), 7-6 (7/4). Apart from his display with the racquet, the 36-year-old also entertained the crowd. They got to click photos of the legendary player closely.
Some of them were used by the tournament’s official page after the game. After seeing one of the photos, Djokovic wrote, “Haha thanks for posting photos on which I look like I was drunk on the court.” At this point, the Instagram post has been removed from the page.
After the game, the number two ranked player in the ATP said that the didn’t play at his best but managed to make a comeback.
“I played a very poor game, but I bounced back and sealed the deal in the 12th game of the second set,” Djokovic said. “I could have done some things better, but I’m pretty happy about winning in straight sets.
