Afghanistan crumbled after getting a great start

Afghanistan started strongly in their World Cup 2023 clash, with openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran forming a 47-run partnership. Progressing to 112/2 in 24.3 overs with Gurbaz and captain Hashmatullah Shahidi, the game shifted as both batsmen fell in consecutive overs, reducing Afghanistan to 112/4.
