IPL 2024: Full list of players released by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of auction

The Indian Cricket Board (ICB) planned to host the IPL 2024 Auction in Dubai on December 19 and auction for the Women's Premier League (WPL) is expected to take place on December 9.

The IPL 2024 Auction, which will be held in Dubai, is going to be hosted outside India for the first time. The IPL players' transfer window ahead of the players' auction is open and we might see some teams making use of it in the coming days. The IPL 2024 Transfer Window closes on November 24 but reports now have it that the teams have informed the IPL Governing Council about the list of players they have released ahead of the IPL Auction 2024. The Indian Cricket Board (ICB) planned to host the IPL 2024 Auction in Dubai on December 19. The IPL 2024 Auction will be preceded by the auction for the Women's Premier League (WPL), expected to take place on December 9.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) who still waits to lift their maiden IPL trophy have failed to enter last year’s playoff round after managing to register only 7 victories out of 14 league games. RCB who failed to maintain a consistent performance in the previous tournament might make a few noticeable changes in their squad for the upcoming tournament. Royal Challengers Bangalore have released Harshal Patel, Dinesh Karthik, Finn Allen, and Anuj Rawat ahead of the IPL 2024 Auction.

New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra, currently making headlines with his stellar performance in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023, has subtly expressed his desire to play alongside Virat Kohli in the RCB during the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Rachin's remarkable run in the World Cup includes scoring 565 runs in 9 matches, just 13 runs shy of Kane Williamson's New Zealand record for the most runs in a single edition of the tournament. He has already surpassed Sachin Tendulkar's record for the most runs in a single edition of the ODI World Cup before turning 25.
