Formula One 2024: Teams release their list of drivers for upcoming season

Max Verstappen will lead the Red Bull team yet again as the young driver hopes to win another Formula One title. Bahrain will host the season opener on the second of March, while Abu Dhabi will host the final race of the season. Fernando Alonso is back for yet another season as is former champions Lewis Hamilton.


Last year it was Max Verstappen and his Red Bull which took both the drivers and the constructor’s title. This year China will host its first race in a while after the COVID-19 pandemic ran rampant. Italy’s Imola Grand Prix is also back on the calendar after the event was cancelled last year due to unforeseen weather conditions.

Team Drivers announced for the new season of Formula 1 – 

Sergio Perez will join Max Verstappen for yet another season of Formula 1. Last year Red Bull won 21 races out of the possible 22 with Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz winning the only race. It was Red Bull’s year as they did the double with the Driver’s and Constructor titles.


Bahrain will see the latest season kick off on the second of March. This will be followed by races in Jeddah, Australia, Japan, and China. After four years Formula One action returns to China at the Shanghai International Circuit.

The month of May will see Florida, Imola, and Monaco host the races. The circuit in Monaco is set to test the drivers as it is known to be one of the most demanding circuits. Canada, Spain, and Austria will host the June Calendar.

In July, it will be time for the races in Britain, Hungary, and Belgium leg of the calendar. There is only one race in August as the Netherlands GP will take place on the 25th. As the season moves ahead to September, Monza, Baku, and Singapore will witness all ten teams in action. 


Texas and Mexico will begin the final round of action in October. This will be followed by races in Brazil, Las Vegas, Qatar, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to end the season. With 24- races in total, the Formula One season is set to be the busiest of the year.
