After the completion of the Chelsea vs Manchester United fixture, the Manchester United’s manager Ralf Rangnick heaped praise on both Ronaldo and Matic for their heart-warming performances at Old Trafford ground.

Talking about the CR7, he stated,

not only the goal that he scored today, also his whole performance, his attitude. How often he helped in our own half. At the age of 37, a player like him, this is not normal to do that. He showed that today and if he plays like he did today he can still be a great help for this team.”

The manager also spoke about Matic’s performances.

“He’s got a top mentality, he’s a top-class professional player and that’s why I’m happy I could give him more game time in the last couple of weeks. For me, a very good performance by Nema.” He stated.

Meanwhile, if reports are to be believed, Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United is in doubt since the arrival of Erik ten Hag. Amidst all that, Spanish giants, Real Madrid is keen to bring the star footballer back to Santiago Bernabeu. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now.
