'The media is telling lies' - Cristiano Ronaldo finally breaks his silence on the rumors about him

The star Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is continuously in the media headlines for the last couple of months. Media and fans were also speculating about his future as he has missed the pre-season tour. Although he returned to training and eventually his agent Jorge Mendes went into talks with the club.

Ronaldo’s contract with the rede devils was renewed last year in 2021 and it will last till the 30^th of June 2023, next year. Apart from this, there were a lot of speculations regarding whether he could join any other club and leave Manchester United before the contract ends.

The legend hasn’t reacted to any of these kinds of speculations, but now, he has come up with a shocking Instagram post. The 37-year-old also lashed out at the media for reportedly lying about him.

Ronaldo wrote on his Instagram handle, “They know the truth when they interview in a couple of weeks. The media is telling lies. I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news I made, only 5 were right. Imagine how it is. Stick with that tip.”

Although, some reports have learned that the veteran forward is still willing to leave the current club. The manager of Manchester United Erik ten Hag also reportedly wants to free the senior center-forward.

“I don’t see what benefit we will get from keeping a player of Ronaldo’s age against his will,” said ten Hag while speaking on Ronaldo.

Notably, the veteran of 935 club matches was the talk of the town during the football transfer window for the season of 2022-23. Since then, the conundrum is still there regarding the transfer of Ronaldo for the next football season.

Now, everybody is eagerly waiting for Ronaldo to be back in action again on the field for either of the clubs. But it would be possible only when this puzzle of transfer will be solved.
