Meanwhile, recently, Vinicius voiced concerns about fans insulting him racially during a recent match of Real Madrid against Valencia, which resulted in a 10-minute interruption of play. He later got into an altercation with Valencia players, which led to him getting sent off. Vinicius took to social media and talked about the racism he faced during La Liga in an Instagram post. The youngster got a lot of support from football fans all around the world and some big footballers as well.

However, later, Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga, apologised for his internet rant against Vinicius Jr. Tebas also expressed sorry for his earlier tweets and acknowledged them. The LaLiga chief made it clear that Vinicius was not the target of his attack and said that he reacted in the "heat of the moment."

"If we were given those capabilities, we would end this in a matter of months. I apologise to Vinicius and to anyone that understood that I was attacking Vinicius. I think it's pretty safe to say that the explosion that happened led to the actions and let's hope it stays like this. If we continue with the status quo, we in La Liga have our doubts." Tebas said.
