Australia locked horns with Tunisia in their second match of the campaign in the FIFA World Cup 2022. Notably, Australia was coming off a loss in their tournament opener against France. On the other hand, the Tunisian side played a draw against Denmark in the first match of their campaign in the tournament.

The Group D match between Australia and Tunisia kicked off at Al Janoub Stadium in Al-Wakrah of Qatar. A good contest football was seen between both the teams in their second appearance in the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup.

Duke completely fooled the Tunisian goalkeeper with his amazing skills and helped Australia to take the match-winning lead of 1-0.

Riding on the brilliant goal of Mitchell Duke on a header, Australia’s maintained this lead till the last whistle of the match. Eventually, they won the match by a score line of 1-0 and kept their hopes still alive in the tournament.
