It will be another way to say a proper goodbye to those players from Ronaldo. Speaking about his second stint at Manchester United, he failed to say a proper goodbye to the players and fans. Just before the FIFA World Cup 2022, an explosive interview came out where Cristiano Ronaldo slammed the club hierarchy and manager Erik Ten Hag.

Cristiano Ronaldo has managed a terrible start to his career at Al-Nassr

Due to that interview and Ronaldo’s claim, the club terminated his contract. After that, on 31 December 2022, the Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr announced the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo officially on their social media platforms. Speaking about the recent reports, Ronaldo has asked his former Manchester United teammates to watch him play for Al-Nassr if possible.

According to the reports of The Sun, Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, and Raphael Varane are the former teammates who are still in touch with the Portugal superstar. However, Ronaldo had a chance to show his class in the semi-final of the Saudi Super Cup. On 26 January, Al-Nassr took on Al-Ittihad but they defeated Cristiano Ronaldo’s side 3-1 and knocked them out of the competition. Ronaldo was nowhere near his level best in the clash.

After the loss, Al-Nassr’s manager, Rudi Garcia claimed: “One of the things that changed the course of the match was Cristiano Ronaldo’s missed opportunity in the first half. I congratulate Al-Ittihad. They presented a much better first half than us, and we played a good second half, but unfortunately, we were not able to adjust the result.”
