Skyesports Champions Series BGMI 2023 Grand Finals: Here's how Team Standings look like after Day 1

Blind Esports looks unstoppable, while Gladiators makes things uneasy for all the teams in the Skyesports Championship.

The top 16 teams have now advanced to the Grand Finals of the Skyesports Champions Series BGMI Semifinals. Three stages make up this INR 25 Lakhs event, and over the course of five days, 24 lineups (six qualified and 18 invited) competed in the Semifinals. In the first and second rounds, Orangutan, who were invited to the Qualifiers, played forcefully.

Before Day 5 of the Champions Series BGMI, Team Soul wasn't in the top 16, but they performed well enough in their final four games to go to the Finals. Another reputable organisation, GodLike Esports, likewise had a lackluster performance but managed to qualify for the Finals.

The first day of the finals took place on Wednesday, June 14, and 6 matches were played and the tournament will last long till June 18. After the completion of 6 matches, Blind Esports ended up as the table toppers with 66 points in 6 matches followed by Team Gladiators and Soul Esports. Blind took 2 ‘winner winner chicken dinner’ in 6 matches while Gladiators took 1 while Soul couldn’t take even a single chicken dinner but still finished at the 3rd spot after day 1.

Team XSpark and Global Esports disappointed their fans

However, fans were left disappointed as their favorite teams Team XSpark and Global Esports couldn’t qualify for the finals. Popular BGMI esports player Tanmay ‘scOut’ Singh is the owner of Team XSpark and made a new team with renowned players like Sarang, Aditya, and Pukar but still couldn’t qualify.

On the other hand, Global Esports signed veteran BGMI player Harmandeep ‘Mavi’ who has made a new team with underdogs but failed to qualify. Meanwhile, we will take a look at the prize pool distribution.
