But, all eyes were on 7 March 2023 as the franchise were busy launching their jersey for the upcoming season. Earlier, reports were there that the secretary of the Indian Cricket Board, Jay Shah will unveil the new jersey.

Fans were not happy with Lucknow for such an arrangement just to launch their jerseys
As expected, the jersey launch event took place on 7 March, and the official YouTube channel of the franchise live-streamed it. Fans were happy as they were eagerly waiting to see the jersey for the next season. But, it got delayed as some dance performances and fashion shows happened. Several players like KL Rahul, Ravi Bishnoi, Krunal Pandya, Avesh Khan, Deepak Hooda, and Jaydev Unadkat were also seen taking participation in that fashion show.
Mentor Gautam Gambhir was also present at the event. After that, Jay Shah, Sanjeev Goenka, Rahul, and Gambhir unveiled the franchise’s new jersey together. But, fans found the event not worthy of it as they slammed Lucknow for spending so much money on a jersey launch event. However, this new jersey will bring good luck or not to the team that time will tell.

Last year, they finished third in the table after all group matches. KL Rahul led Lucknow and won nine out of 17 games. Even, as an individual batter, Rahul had a phenomenal season. He scored more than 600 runs and thus, fans will hope for another season with full runs from the skipper.
