On 18 May 2023, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take n Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the ongoing IPL. Ahead of this clash, RCB are currently in the fifth spot with 12 points in 12 games. But, SRH are in the ninth spot with eight points in 12 games. So, RCB will look for a win to strengthen their qualification chances for the playoffs.

Now, ahead of the clash, an image has gone viral where the former RCB skipper, Virat Kohli was seen bowling in the net. But, what attracted most of the fans was that Kohli was wearing pads while bowling. Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media. However, Kohli has been having a good season so far with the bat.

In 12 matches, he has scored 438 runs, including six fifties. Kohli is in the sixth position in the race for the Orange Cap this year. However, RCB are coming off after a thrashing victory over RR in their last game. While chasing 172 runs, RR got bundled out for 59 runs. Kohli scored only 18 runs off 19 balls, including one four. After that win, a video went viral where Kohli was seen saying that if he would have bowled, RR would have bundled out for just 40 runs.

He said: "If I had bowled, they would have been all out for 40." Wayne Parnell won the Player of the Match award for taking three wickets for 10 runs. However, Kohli has four wickets to his name in his IPL career so far. He last bowled in IPL 2016. However, two wickets came in IPL 2008 while the other two wickets came in IPL 2011. For India also, he has taken eight wickets so far across all three formats. His best figure of two wickets for 25 runs in 3.4 overs came against Deccan Chargers during IPL 2008 in Hyderabad.
