How did the match between Delhi and Mumbai pan out?

Meg Lanning chose to bowl first after winning the toss, and this proved to be a wise choice. To set the tone, Marizanne Kapp caused the ball to move in the air and scalped a few elite Mumbai batters. Shikha Pandey and Arundhati Reddy, for example, continued the good work by taking wickets. Only Poonam Yadav failed to perform well with the ball for Delhi as Jess Jonassen and Radha Yadav both bowled well.

Mumbai's top three batters were unsuccessful, but captain Harmanpreet Kaur did her hardest to get a few runs. Issy Wong, Pooja Vastrakar, and Amanjot Kaur all contributed with useful hits to help Mumbai reach the 100-run threshold.
