The upcoming edition of the  Women’s World Cup is just around the corner. Although the tournament is all set to start on March 4, all eight teams will be playing two warm-up games. These warm-up games will start on February 27.

New Zealand will be facing Pakistan in the first practice game on Sunday alongside India, who will be taking on South Africa. Australia will be facing West Indies. As for the second day reserved for warm-up games, Bangladesh faces defending champions England, followed by India vs West Indies and New Zealand vs Australia on March 1.

The last day of the warm-up games shall see South Africa and England locking horns against each other. Post which, the mega-event starts. As far as India are concerned, they will be playing their opening fixture against arch-rivals Pakistan on March 6.

However, the warm-up games shall be really crucial for them as the Raj-led side need to fix their combination. Although they avoided a whitewash against New Zealand recently, India looked below-average throughout the series. The warm-up matches will be played across three venues – Lincoln Green & Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln, and Rangiora Oval in Rangiora.
