An intense debate has started in the Indian cricketing corridors just after the exclusion of the senior pacer Jasprit Bumrah from the squad of the 20-20 World Cup 2022. He sustained an injury in the back before the first T20I of the series against South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram. But now, the major question Indian management is encountering is who will replace Bumrah in the marquee tournament in Australia.

Apart from that, recently Bumrah came up with an emotional tweet on the social media platform Twitter.

“I am gutted that I won’t be a part of the T20 World Cup this time, but thankful for the wishes, care, and support I’ve received from my loved ones. As I recover, I’ll be cheering on the team through their campaign in Australia 🇮🇳,” wrote Bumrah in his tweet posted by him on the 4th of October.

Although, this emotional post from Bumrah couldn’t melt the hearts of the insensitive fans who went on to troll him for not being a part of the national side in such a major international tournament.

Here’s how fans reacted to the post from Jasprit Bumrah:

Talking about the Indian team in the absence of Bumrah, then they’ve lost the final T20I of the three-match T20I series against South Africa. It was only the first match when Indian bowlers clicked but since then they’ve conceded more than 200 runs in both the second and third T20I.

Notably, the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma also talked about the possible replacement for Jasprit Bumrah during the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup.

"Bumrah is out of the World Cup, so we need to find a bowler who has the experience of bowling in Australia. Not sure who that bowler is going to be, we will see once we travel to Australia, we'll find it out there," said Rohit Sharma in the post-match presentation after the third T20I.
