Former Indian skipper and senior batter, Virat Kohli never fails to entertain his fans with activities both on and off the field. The 34-year-old happened to do the same in the recently concluded first of the three-match Test series. Both teams played this match at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhary Stadium in Chattogram.

Coming back to Virat Kohli, the incident happened during the second innings of Bangladesh when Zakir Hasan was there in the middle. Virat Kohli was standing at the silly point and he unexpectedly started doing some funny gestures toward Zakir that happened to distract the centurion batter.

The video of this incident has gone viral over social media within minutes of being shared and fans have also reacted to the same.

Talking about the action of the series opener between India and Bangladesh, the visitors posted a total of 404 runs in the first innings. Following the conclusion of the Indian innings, the bowlers did their job and bundled up Shakib’s men with only on a score of 150 runs to take a lead of 254 runs in the first innings.

After declaring 258 runs for the loss of two wickets, the KL Rahul-led Indian team posted a target of 513 runs for the hosts. In reply of which, the knocks of 100 and 84 runs from Zakir Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan respectively helped Bangladesh to reach a total of 384 runs. But eventually, they failed to reach the target and lost the match by 188 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav won the ‘player of the match award for his brilliant match-defining performance including a five-for in the first innings. Later on, he scalped three wickets in the second innings. Notably, it was the comeback match for the Kanpur bowler after a long wait of 22 months since the last match he played against England in February 2021.
