The ongoing Chattogram Test between India and Bangladesh has witnessed another day of visitors' dominance that started with the brilliant centuries of Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara in the second innings. It was the maiden Test ton for the 23-year-old Gill as he smashed a knock of 110 runs with 10 boundaries and three sixes to his name.

He was accompanied by the senior Test specialist batter Cheteshwar Pujara as he scored a Test century after a long wait of more than 24 months. Following the century of Pujara, India declared their second innings with a score of 258 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Talking about the earlier action of the match, the Indian bowling lineup bundled up the first innings of Bangladesh only score 150 runs in the first innings to take a big lead of 254 runs. Prior to that, the visitors posted a decent total of 404 runs in the first innings, thanks to the brilliant knocks from Pujara, Shreyas Iyer, and senior all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin.

Taking charge in the bowling lineup, Kuldeep Yadav bagged a five-for to outmuscle the hosts in the first innings.

At the end of the third day, Bangladesh posted 42 runs without losing any wickets. Openers Najmul Hasan Shanto and Zakir Hasan ended up going not-out on the individual scores of 25 and 17 runs respectively.

The hosts now require 471 runs with two days to spare in this first of the two-match Test series against KL Rahul-led Indian team.
