Over the years, numerous Muslim cricketers have been seen doing acts of kindness by distributing Iftaar in the holy month of Ramadan. Recently, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam was also seen spreading the love by distributing Iftaar on the street of his hometown in Lahore in the spirit of Ramadan. A video of him distributing Iftar has been doing the rounds on social media, leaving the fans in awe.

The fans of the Pakistan cricketer loved his noble act and it didn’t take a lot of time to get the video spread across the globe. It is worth mentioning that Babar Azam came back to his home after a long time as he was busy with his national duties and also participated in the Pakistan Super League 2022.

Babar Azam recently led Pakistan in all-format series against Australia. Under his leadership, Pakistan lost the Test series by a 1-0 margin but bounced back strongly in the ODIs. Babar Azam and Co. beat Australia in the ODI by a 2-1 margin. The only T20I played during the tour was won by Australia by 3 wickets.

Babar Azam exhibited sensational form with the bat in the series. He was the third-highest run-getter in the Test series. In 3 Tests, Babar Azam managed to score 390 runs in 3 matches at an average of 78.00. He was brilliant with the bat in the ODIs as well, fishing as the second-highest run-getter behind Imam Ul-Haq.

The Pakistan captain scored 276 runs in 3 ODIs at an average of 138.00. He hit two centuries in their ODIs in that series. Babar Azam played a stellar knock of 66 runs in 46 balls in the only T20 international played during the series but he lacked support from the other end. As a result, the Men in Green could only post 162 runs in 20 overs. Australia chased down the score in 19.1 overs.
