Indian women's cricket team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has a huge fan following and is also a crush of many. The opening batter has been a strong pillar of the team over the years. She played a key role in India's epic Test victories against England and Australia recently. Mandhana's contributions of 74 and 38* were crucial as India registered their maiden win against Australia in the lone Test at Wankhede on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the left-hander is now in the headlines for some off-field reasons. Mandhana and Ishan Kishan, star wicketkeeper batter of the Indian men's team, featured together in the latest episode of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) on Christmas Day. During the show hosted by legendary Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan, Mandana faced an out-of-the-box question from the audience and her answer is going viral on social media. 

A fan asked who is her ideal husband and what qualities she is looking for in him. "Smriti ma'am. You have so many male followers on Instagram. What are the qualities that you like in a man?" Kishan, sitting with Mandhana in the hot seat, quipped: "Turn kar dia, sir". The 27-year-old initially blushed at the question as she was laughing, but later gave a perfect reply.

"I did not expect such a question. Accha ladka ho that is very important. He should be caring and understand my sport. That is two major qualities that he should have. Because as a girl I will not be able to give him that much time. That thing he should understand and he should care about. These are the things which are top priority. These are the qualities which I will look in a man," Mandhana replied.

The star cricketers played the quiz well and won ₹12.5 lakh as prize money. They had to quit the game at question number 13 as they didn't know the answer and had already used up all three lifelines. 

Mandhana will be next in action during the upcoming white-ball series against Australia. The Women in Blue will face the Aussies in three ODIs starting on December 28, followed by a three-match T20I series from January 5. On the other hand, Kishan recently returned to India from South Africa after skipping the two-match Test series, citing mental fatigue.
